In the Notre Dame Clemson game the kicker made an important tackle. Is Sarah Fuller prepared to make a tackle or is she told to stay out of the way? Could a player be charged with assault if there’s a collision?
“I’ve never had to have that conversation before. I’m not going to change and have that conversation now,” Smart said. “We don’t account for the kicker in our returns.”
LOL. Perfect.
Fuller is a novelty being used by a failed program to generate interest.
Another glaring example of the media desperately trying to infuse politics into sports.
Good for Kirby Smartt. He didn’t take the bait.
Huh? Your blog didn’t write this. It’s cut and pasted from the web. Why make it clickbait on our dime, posting bot?

During his most recent press conference, Georgia head football coach Kirby Smart explained why he would not focus on Fuller and her role in the lead-up to the Vanderbilt game.
“Probably not,” he said.
“I’ve never had to have that conversation before. I’m not going to change and have that conversation now,” Smart said. “We don’t account for the kicker in our returns.
“I don’t think anybody in the country accounts for the kicker. You assume that if you get to the kicker, you did a pretty good job in the return game,” he continued.
“We don’t plan on having a conversation about it. She plays a very physical sport to be honest with you. I’ve seen some pretty brutal collisions without a helmet and without gear on. I’m sure she can take care of herself when it comes to that. That’s not something we’ve really concerned with because we don’t assign anybody to the kicker.”
Vanderbilt interim head coach Todd Fitch, who took over for the recently-fired Derek Mason, said that Fuller would continue to be on the roster for the foreseeable future.

“I didn’t speak with her specifically after last week’s game, but she indicated that she wanted to continue,” he said.
“She was there today. Right now, as it stands I don’t see any change in that. She’ll be with us on the trip to Georgia and we’re gonna put the best people out there. If she’s our best option, we’ll continue to work with her and we’ll do the best we can for the team.”
Vanderbilt got blown out 41-0 in Fuller’s debut versus Missouri last week.
Will she and her team fare any better this time around?
Time will tell.

Her kick was a joke. Any male 55-65 could have kicked like that. Then she run off the field to high fives, backslaps, hugs and interviews.
Amazing.
Kirby Smart should one up Vandy and get a trans woman to kick off (after the game is out of reach). The media reaction would be comedy gold.
She’s 6’2” 190 and in great shape. I’m not saying she’s going to try to tackle anyone, but if a returner were headed for a touchdown she could probably re-route someone or slow him down if he tried to run her over.
her performance was horrible
