Smokers in the Golden Gate City have been banned from smoking tobacco in their apartments, but smoking a marijuana joint inside is perfectly fine, officials announced Tuesday.
The Board of Supervisors approved the new law in 10 to 1 vote, making San Francisco the largest city in the country to adopt the tough measure against tobacco smokers, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

It’s amazing how the left understands that a cigarette (even filtered) is unhealthy to smoke but a marajuana joint is somehow okay or even healthy. And I accept that marijuana might have medical uses in limited cases, but I don’t like the dishonesty of millions of people who suddenly claim they have a medical need for the weed.

Apartment building owners can put non-smoking restrictions in their rental agreements if they don’t want smoking in their units. Why does the government need to get involved?

When Ohio was preparing to make smoking in bars and restaurants illegal, I was against it. I believe property rights should take precedent over such choices. Restaurants were already setting up non-smoking areas. The trends were already moving toward smoke free. The government did not need to step in.

In the early days of Drag Racing as the Drivers were pulling up towards the Starting Line there was a spot that the Crew would splash some Bleach on the pavement in front of the rear tires and as the tires contacted the Bleach the Driver would “dump” the clutch and floor the gas pedal and spin the tires in the Bleach to heat up and soften the tire rubber to get better traction and leave trails of hot sticky rubber on the Track too for better Traction for the Start. Back in those days the Engine Horsepower was somewhere around 800 to maybe 1200 or so. Track times were around 6 seconds in the 1/4 mile and 150+ mph. That area was dubbed The Bleach Box.
The kommiefornia political pigs made them stop using Bleach and use water.
These days it’s still water sprayed down before the tires. There has been changes in tire sizes getting bigger and Horsepower is in the 10,000 to 12,000 range now from a V8 still. Times are now in the 3 second range at 300+ mph. For Safety reasons the Tracks are now 1000 feet down from 1320 feet (1/4 mile).
If You have never been to one check out an NHRA Event near You. Take Earplugs at minimum, Ear Muffs like for Shooting/Hunting are better. 2 wide Races (20,000-24,000 HP) are Great but 4 wide Races are AWESOME !!! Currently only Concord, NC and Las Vegas, NV have 4 wides.(40,000-48,000 HP) Both will shake, rattle and roll Ya.
