One thing to consider about martial law ...
Morons will be outside “protesting”. That means rioting in newspeak. That’s a target rich environment since anyone with half a brain cell understands what is going on and will comply. They’ll have a decision to make this time though ... Do they want to be arrested and face trial by someone that will put them into jail for years, or do they want to die. This won’t be like this summer where scumbags were all but letting them rampage.
Others will attempt to flee. Under martial law, this is futile.
I’m pretty sure all aircraft will be grounded. They’ll stand out if they go by air.
Tracking any outbound watercraft should stick out like a sore thumb.
Anyone trying to flee by ground will have problems crossing borders if they’d even get that far.
If it were anyone else making this call, I have to admit I’d piss myself if I saw martial law with the EBS tone going off. However, I trust that POTUS is using it to round up all of these subversives. It’s about the only way they can pull it off quickly w/o the loss of much property and life.
I remember September 11, 2001. All aircraft WERE grounded. All airports shut down. All planes called home.
