There’s over 954,000 staffed hospital beds in the US.
About 90,000 are being used for COVID (Which accounts for anything else they may be in there for).
Not seeing a problem overall and yes some hospitals may have limited rooms do to their size and not to mention all those field hospitals set up and the USS Comfort that were never used except for a few beds.
It’s an overstated false fear.
That’s because, with the exception of people who aren’t very healthy to begin with, COVID IS the flu. COVID is “dangerous” and potentially “deadly” to the same people, for the same reasons, and to the same degree, as the flu.
At the hospital I work at in southern NJ we have 80 positive Covid cases.
