"Quote by General Patton"

___________________________
"Hill to die on" is just an expression. It has a significant meaning that you may be forgetting. The whole point is that our side is not willing to fight.

There are three reasons for this:
1. The women. There are far too many conservative women who are more terrified by conflict than anything that may be lost by compromise. When the moment of truth finally comes, when death is staring them in the face, well then they are ready to fight but it is too late. You must defeat your enemy early before he has the power to destroy you, knowing your women will not see it or stand for it. "You are no better than they are! Why do you have to stoop to their level?"
2. Institutional legitimacy. We cannot fight until a mantle of holiness enshrouds the cause. In 1776 it was provided by the continental congress. In 1860 it was secession and slavery. How that might be accomplished in this day and age is beyond my poor power to imagine.
3. Leadership. If General Lee tells us to furl the flag, then that is what we do. If some real leader will point the way then we could coordinate around a realistic goal and win it.

You may see that there is some overlap in these three. The leader would need to be a legitimate office holder and he could press the issue that might silence all the weak sisters. Again I am at a loss as to how this might be done today.

Anyway your correction does not provide any insight, I say with due respect. I simply rephrase, What hill are we prepared to make our enemy die on?

Some prefer, “which hill can we use to kill them all?”

that would probably include me.

There is really a simple answer to this "What hill?" Question.

The answer is freedom; my freedom, at least what's left of it.
If election fraud determines the next president, then my vote truly doesn't count and I have lost my final vestiges in the operations of a country that I agreed to submit to and serve if necessary.

If election fraud determines the next president then there will never be another election determined by the actual vote of the people. (I am not so naive as to think that manipulation hasn't been an ongoing theme, but there has never before been an outright theft.)

Not sure you if you like commonly Quoted expressions much, but for me; that's one bridge to far.
