The 1992 United States presidential election in Georgia took place on November 3, 1992, and was part of the 1992 United States presidential election. Voters chose 13 representatives, or electors to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.

Georgia was won by Governor Bill Clinton (D-AR). The presidential contest in the Peach State was the closest of any state that year with Clinton winning 43.47% to 42.88% over Incumbent President George H. W. Bush (R) by a razor thin margin of 0.59%.

If there was, Clinton would have won.

The country was due for a turn at stupidity. Instead, we got the beginning of what is now nearly a 30 year crime spree by George Soros the puppet master and global deep state.

People in 1992 chose poorly....

George Soros should have been dealt with many years ago, by many different entities. He’s just about to become more powerful than any man or demon in the world.

Because POTUS elections are not decided by popular vote, they are decided by electoral college votes, Clinton won more than 270 and he won, it’s that simple

Unofficial agreement to not contest results, because they were both on the same team anyway.

Jonty30 is right, it was the same, whoever ran. Both being fed watered, and led by the same monsters.

I thinking it would not be all that productive to petition a court to order a runoff in Georgia for the 1992 election.

I think it was Perot that caused Bush to lose.

fraud wasn’t the problem in 1992. That year, the problem was third party whack job and liberal secret weapon:

With two Southerners on the ticket and Perot pulling off Reagan voters it wasn't surprising that Clinton and Gore would take Georgia, Arkansas, Tennessee and Louisiana.

I doubt there was any agreement between Bush and Clinton, but Democrats weren't quite as desperate then as they are now.

The electoral vote was 370 to 168 and the Democrats were going to win even without Georgia. It was sort of a bonus for them.

Democrats got spooked in 2016 when they lost states they assumed they would win, so they increased their efforts in the polling places this time to insure that it wouldn't happen again.

Bush lost in great part to GOP fatigue. They ruled the wh for 12 years and it was time for a new direction. The media showed their true colors and painted the early 1990s as “the worst economy since ww2” which of course was a lie, but it got repeated enough...

Rules for electoral votes don’t require a majority, that why George Wallace won in 1968 with 43%.

If 1992 had been closer, a recount might have called for.

Yup. #3 on Clinton's list, after reversing the Mexico City Policy and trying to get an $18 billion stimulus through (and failing) was Motor-Voter, which was the beginning of all sorts of Tomfoolery.

Because Georgia’s election Code was Amended in 2010, and because O.C.G.A. 21-2-501 (f) specifically exempts presidential electors.

Nothing in the Constitution mentions runoffs or primaries. Runoffs are only held in six or eight states, including GA, which has both primary runoffs and general election runoffs is there is no outright majority.
