You and me both! :-). The last PA Republican Senator that seemed to be at least decent was John Heinz. He was killed in a plane crash (I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that it was a DS operation).
His wife Teresa inherited his fortune. John Kerry was right there to sweep her off her feet of course. Those worthless slobs love spending other people’s money.
I am sure many here like Rick Santorum. Please keep in mind that while he talks a big game on social issues, he’s a big spending neocon in real life. I do not trust that man. It’s almost like he knew he’d never get anything related to social issues passed and used that to attempt to stay in office.
The lazy pile of garbage that beat him in 2006 is infinitely worse than him of course (Bob Casey Jr). Still, we can do a lot better than Santorum. I would love to see Casey beaten in a race ... he isn’t up for reelection until 2024 unfortunately (here’s to hoping his race was padded with magic votes and he’s expelled).
Also, let us not forget that genius Arlen Spector. That guy was a piece of work. Talk about a frigging flip-flopper. It was awesome to see Toomey beat him in the primaries in 2010, but Toomey became a big disappointment pretty quickly.
