In reading around the web tonight, a few who seemed to routinely aware of this policy board said they never knew people like Kissinger and Albright belonged to it.

Those watchers seemed intrigued about what must be afoot and how those two ever got on the board, why their membership on it had been kept from the public.

The Department of Defense has removed several members of its Defense Policy Board, including two former secretaries of state and a former house majority leader, Foreign Policy reports.
