“Seductive Poison: A Jonestown Survivor’s Story of Life and Death in the Peoples Temple Paperback – Illustrated, November 9, 1999”

or this one?

“Jim Jones and the Peoples Temple: The History of the Most Notorious Cult and Mass Murder-Suicide in American History Paperback – September 22, 2015”

I was just a dumb teenager when it all happened so all I remember is endless news stories on local stations about the Nightmare November as they were calling it. Jonestown happened on November 18. Harvey Milk was shot on the 27th.

It was awful to hear about. I was in AFJRROTC and we actually had a field trip one day that was a short flight on one of the C141 planes that brought the victims back which was kind of creepy....

Wasn’t that about the time all the SF weirdos that rose to the top really got going?

What if Jonestown was actually some kind of mass human sacrifice to propel the rat machine forward?

I’m sure a lot of those poor people(God rest their souls)really did believe they were headed for a brighter future and were led astray by Jones. They might have been believers with good intentions flying out there in all innocence. Innocent people led astray and far from prying eyes...

Sigh, I’m sorry, I can’t tell for sure or not without further digging. I will have to keep watching for this and get back. Sorry.
