It looks pristine. If it had actually been there in the wilderness for any length of time, it would be covered with dust and possibly some sort of plant growth. I smell a hoax.

Uh, that is arid desert, almost to splant life. Dust I could see, if they looked at the top.

For it to be a hoax it would be suggested that it “is something.”

It looks like something an art student would do.

But setting it in that kind of earth is tough.

Its a piece of metal in the desert and doesn't have even one bullet hole in it. Can't have been there more than a week.
