However, the night of the Rodney King verdict, he actually got a group of elected officials together, put on tennis shoes, and walked ALL FIVE BOROUGHS that night.

NJ was on fire (I know because I was in a government issued car coming back to Manhattan and watched people throw bricks in windows and light buildings on fire).
Didn’t happen in NYC. The one inspired bit of leadership in his whole miserable career.
