Fox News’ favorability has tumbled among Republicans since Election Day, as the cable news network has faced a steady drumbeat of criticism from President Donald Trump.
From late December 2019 through Nov. 2, 67 percent of U.S. adults who identify as Republican viewed Fox News favorably, according to Morning Consult’s Brand Intelligence, which tracks consumer attitudes of thousands of brands, while roughly 16 percent had an unfavorable view of the cable channel.
Then came election night, when Fox News was the first news organization to project a Trump loss in the battleground state of Arizona.
The announcement reportedly enraged the president, and in the days since he has continued to wallop the network on Twitter, saying its ratings have “completely collapsed,” criticizing its coverage of his supporters’ rally in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 14 and suggesting that his followers turn instead to One America News Network or Newsmax, two conservative cable news networks.
It appears such rhetoric has impacted public opinion of the brand. In polling conducted Nov. 9-16, the network’s average favorability rating among GOP respondents has dropped 13 percentage points, to 54 percent, and the average share of those with an unfavorable view of the network nearly doubled, to 30 percent.

U R a little late pal.
They’ll make it up when all the progs flock to Fox./s
Still over 50% favorable. Not good enuff. The favorability should be much lower.
Tucker, it hasn’t fallen enough.
FOX is the Titanic of Cable News. They hit the election day iceberg and are STILL taking on water.Biden will make them slip beneath the surface.
I’m guessing they are still not attracting many Dems, either.
This only shows results for Republicans who answer polls. The real crash is reflected in the Ratings Collapse.
Only 10-15% of Fox viewers are Democrats.
Poetic justice indeed, and a reflection of the views of most of the USA.
1/3 of the audience so far. That’s acceptable to them so it needs to be more.
Hey, I got an idea, Faux News. Count every Republican viewer as 1.33 demonicRAT viewers.
You will dominate cable news for years. Or should I say Dominionate?
And don't worry about your advertisers catching on to the ruse. Just tell them they are conspiracy theorists and they have no evidence of such chicanery and, well, you know, basically just tell them to shove their wild accusations up their nose.
Chris Wallace or mike as the demented elect one calls him is reason enough to avoid further illusion with faux news of any flavor. They all taste bad.
That was the whole reason they did an Arnold on us. Business decision. They wanted to get the CNN/MSNBC watchers who are more centrist than their core watchers..we will see how it works for them. If anyone thinks any of the networks give a damn about anything but their bottom lines, then they are naive. Including Newsmax or OAN. They have their own business model - to reel in the disenchanted Fox viewers, until their business model changes. Want the best TV there is? Turn it off and read a good book.. (this forum is good for rants, isn’t?)
Fox News betrayed its audience.
Yep, it’s allllllll Trump’s doings. Plus the Arizona debacle wasn’t the only part of the problem. Refusing to call Trump states with most votes in and then seeming to engage in election fraud denial afterwards didn’t help.
yep. We knew they were bad before the president said anything. THAT is the biggest inaccuracy of the article saying we took our cue from President Trump. We took our cue from our own experience watching the evil BS.
You are spot on. No matter what Fox does, Democrats will never migrate to them...too many other options that have a history of being progressive.
As we all know, Democrats have a history of boycotting business’ and services that they have never used. Sadly, it works.
There is still no cure for stupid.
And in other news Joe Namath leads Jets to Super Bowl to win.
