We have been wanting to try a goose for Thanksgiving or another holiday.

Anyone have success with baking, Traegering or frying a goose?

“Anyone have success with baking, Traegering or frying a goose?”

Our son in law is an avid smoker, uses a Traeger for smaller meals and built a brick smoker for larger projects.

I have enjoyed goose he has smoked.

That said, goose is mostly dark and a bit greasy.
It was not as popular as his homemade pastrami.
