The morning DJ’s at Toledo’s FM104 WIOT got fired for talking naughty and were replaced by a pair from another local station. I knew who the replacements were and that they were out of their music, they weren’t rockers, by any means. I almost spilled my coffee when Staples introed a song—”And now, here’s Renegade...by (pregnant pause) Stikes?”
That sounds so Les Nessman.
Forgot to say, the replacements lasted one day, and were summarily replaced by Bob & Tom, the guys who love to laugh at their own farts. Pass!
