That's one of the greatest sports photos of all time.

The referee of Ali-Liston was Jersey Joe Walcott, who provide pretty decent sports photos himself during Walcott vs Marciano I.
In the first Marciano fight, Walcott was ahead on points and was cruising. In the 13th round, he backs into the ropes and did his hesitation bum's rush move off the ropes as marciano threw what some claim as the most devastating punch in boxing history.

The follow-through on that punch was just as ugly

That was fun to watch. Thanks.

I got this in my memory box. I 'watched' the 'Down Goes Frazier' fight on a radio while I was washing dishes at Mastro's Fine Italian Restaurant in Lompoc, Ca. (my first job if you don't count hoeing beans for one day and working as a gardening assistant for a cool old Filipino man, Mr. Gil). I was a #TeamFrazier and hate Clay to this day.

Mr. Gil would always tell my teenage ass, "I'm gonna go home, take a shower, pee on my feet, and F my wife." with his Filipino accent. I loved that guy.

Great video. Thanks for sharing. Rocky caught Walcott just as he was moving into the punch. The effect was devastating.
