Tucker didn’t come to see the light. He already revealed his true self when he attacked Sidney Powell. You don’t change your loyalties in the course of 2 days. Tucker merely saw that he had gone too far, too fast and is now retreating to his previous con game where he pretends he’s on our side.
Perhaps you are right... but I have to give people room to grow {if possible}. Early on Mark Levin, Glenn Beck and others opposed DJT but obviously they were able to perceive their mistake; I have heard that Carlson was one of these. If he is a con man I am sure we will know in good time.
Trump is a populist, not a 'party man'. Many are incapable of making this adjustment. Rush Limbaugh said early on that Trump is not a conservative. As a populist Trump appears to be a conservative because he is is a traditionalist who likes to see everyone prosper; he is not necessarily a fiscal conservative but he understands the principle. He approved budget increases because he felt that an exploding economy could take up the slack even with tax cuts.
Socialism finds all of that anathema. Never Trumpers were put up against their true values and rejected the populist view, actually fled towards socialism; explaining why they did that is up to someone with more insight than I. :^)
“Tucker didn’t come to see the light.”
Finally, someone noticed. Good job.
I can’t trust anybody that works at Fux News. They’re like the designated Con at CNN or J Rubin at the wapo.
I just saw Trump’s statement regarding the Dow breaking 30,000 and I’m struck by the tone of his voice. His tone is Very different from what I’m used to. He sounded totally relaxed and very sharp and alert. The Trump that we see at rallies is not all there is. I believe that the Trump we see at rallies is, to some degree, a bit of an act. Trump is as sharp as a tack and totally in control. His forgetful, sometimes confused persona is an act designed to mislead his enemies.
