David Pack, after leaving Ambrosia, did solo work including a jazz flavored cover of his hit, “Biggest Part Of Me” - VERY VERY NICE!!!

From his solo album “The Secret of Movin’ On”
Awesome! One time the bass player swatted a guy off the stage with his base in ensenada mexico.
Wife and I were listening to Brook Benton croon during our suppertime tonight. We had corned beef/swiss sandwiches and baked beans.

Lemmy was a rock God
Stupid smartphone.
Nice, very nice.
When hawkwind kicks you out of the band in the dead of winter for drugs, there may be a problem....
I never imagined hawkwind could replace Lemmy but Alan davey did a fine job and Lemmy went on to form motorhead..

Doobie Brothers, Seals and Croft, Little Feat, B.B. King, Al Jolson, Nat King Cole, Glen Miller ... it’s a long, long, a list that spans back decades. A lot of us grew up with a wonderful mix of music. And I feel blessed for being exposed to it all.
But I swear to *od, if I hear one more rolling boom box rolling down the street rattling my walls and dishes..... i might go .... crazy!
Yes!
Great band Social Distortion. I saw them several times most recently at the Houston House of Blues a few years ago.
A band I like a lot today is Blackberry Smoke. Southern Rock band from Georgia that’s very talented and hard working. They are an old throwback, Check em out.
Who sounds like these folks anymore?
Hypnotized - Fleetwood Mac

Down So Low - Linda Ronstadt

When I was a kid I bought a cheap electric guitar, I went out to the garage and cut out a flying V body from a solid wood door the old man had, I painted it with the hawkwind logo and transferred the neck and guts to this offering to the Gods.. amazing the old man did not kill me.
I have some Hawkwind. Stuff from the 80’s, mostly, and not much. But I love all of it!
Space Ritual, Live Chronicles (which is perhaps my favorite concept album—even more than Zappa’s “Joe’s Garage”), Chronicle of the Black Sword, The Xenon Codex, Electric Tepee, and It Is the Business of the Future to Be Dangerous.
Blue Oyster Cult is another band I really like. I had a large-ish tape collection of their stuff I never got around to entirely replacing.
My favorite band I have next to nothing of is ZZ Top.
I have no use for stevie nicks but the rest are cool.
Just a legendary band
Which one? :-D
That Fleetwood Mac tune is from years before Stevie Nicks joined the band.
