I don’t get it. Network news shows, professional sports teams, Hollywood movie industry, Drudge Report, etc. are all run by intelligent, educated and highly successful people. They see their businesses collapsing. Their consumers are telling them why they are leaving. So why don’t the people running these businesses reverse course?
I think it is for 2 reasons. 1. Left wing twitter mobs are better at bullying advertisers than the right. They fear the left. 2. They don’t care about older conservatives because they pay the cable bill, so ESPN gets its $8 a month from the cable subscriber whether they watch or not. Ratings don’t matter as much these days.
Ideology! They have put fanatics in charge.
