Won a grammy - not that that means anything, but at least it wasn’t given to some whiny little brat on an autotune. Tanya paid her dues. I guess it’s uplifting to some and depressing to others. Even Glen’s song was depressing, but uplifting to ALZ affected folks.

Years ago, I lost a friend and mentor to cancer. His funeral was well attended by many co-workers, but his death hit me particularly hard.
The internment, I think, was at Forest Lawn which was (and may still be) embellished with many quasi-classical sculptures. The statues on the ingress were appropriately dignified, but on exiting there was one set of statues with prominently displayed bare buttocks.
As morose as I was at the time, it gave me a chuckle. The cemetery owners seemed to know what it takes to get peoples’ minds off of death.
