The First Lady and I send our warmest wishes to all those celebrating Diwali this week.
During this Festival of Lights, friends, neighbors, and loved ones join in fellowship to commemorate the spiritual triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. As diyas are lit throughout homes, workplaces, communities, and places of worship, their warmth reminds us of the hope and devotion that faith and tradition bring into our lives.
The United States is a deeply faithful nation, and I am proud of my Administrations work defending the constitutional right of all Americans to live and worship according to their conscience. Wherever Americans light diyas to celebrate Diwali, our Nation shines bright as a beacon of religious liberty for all people.
This year, we are especially reminded to cherish and give thanks for the companionship of our friends and family. The First Lady and I wish the millions of people in the United States and around the world observing Diwali a joyous celebration and prosperous new beginnings.
BUMP
What the hell is that?
It is an India holiday festival of light!!!
Some imported Hindu junk.
Is that where that idol with eight arms comes out? And then they all go out curry? I guess I should learn since that Indo-skank is moving into the White House pretty soon allegedly.
It is an India holiday festival of light!!!

Harris will be pleased!
Once Kamala boots Biden down a flight of stairs and grabs the reins of power, the eating of beef will be forbidden. The national anthem will be played only on a sitar. And each member of the Cabinet will be required to have a red dot in the middle of their forehead.
With all seriousness, if I was Biden I wouldnt be alone in a room with Kamala.

Islam will have a say so in that. They won’t be as “cowed” as my Christian brethren.
Junk, you say? Not what my president says:
“During this Festival of Lights, friends, neighbors, and loved ones join in fellowship to commemorate the spiritual triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. And don't eat the homemade cookies she leaves in the breakroom.
Harris isn’t a Hindu.
So a million cows in DC will be the perfect protest! ;-)
Probably because he was told the same version stripped of the Hindu polytheism:
"Diwali is called the Festival of Lights and is celebrated to honor Rama-chandra, the seventh avatar (incarnation of the god Vishnu). It is believed that on this day Rama returned to his people after 14 years of exile during which he fought and won a battle against the demons and the demon king, Ravana."
This appears to be a generic statement. Last year’s Diwali message mentioned the First Lady by name.
Mooo, news will report is as two thousand or ignore altogether.
Dermonizing Hinduism means you know very little about it, and anyone who looks into Christianity as shallowly as you apparently have looked into Hinduism can have the exact same type of criticisms.
