I can speak confidently in this matter as I am drawing from his original manifesto The Art of the Deal: Mr. Trump never backs down or concedes ANYTHING if he thinks he’s in the right. That’s why he was such a pugnacious litigator. It’s a personal principal. He would fight you for five years over five dollars because its the principle of the thing.
