“I’m so glad you can see labels, now. What a blessing.
Hubby had -8.0, PRE-lasik surgery, years ago.
And, I thought his was bad.”
I remember I was looking for cream of celery soup. And there was a whole wall of soup, I finally just had to ask somebody for help.
I think I remember your saying that the surgery got him to really good Vision? That’s amazing what they can do these days. Yeah I’m feeling a lot more confident these days. I didn’t realize how much being 100% dependent on glasses made me feel a little fragile. At least I always had to make sure I had the nearby and was very careful. If I dropped then I would panic, especially when I didn’t have a backup pair
That’s such a helpless feeling....not being able to see virtually anything.
Hubby was the same way....especially as a kid...before contacts....he was completely dependent on those (cute litte hornrimmed) glasses! If they broke, during sports (or fights w/his brothers...lol) he was toast, until he got them fixed.
Yes, his lasik worked, but, last year (over a decade after lasik) he had to start wearing a contact in his left eye. Just to correct a bit of myopia that bothers him when he drives...especially at night.
I’m so happy you are ‘free, at last’, with your new vision. Prayers for continued great vision!!
