At last, I’m finally heading out the door to Best Buy to purchase a color ink jet printer. I plan to print out maps of the entire Arizona Trail. With a little luck, I am going to hike the trail over the winter, starting in the center of the state around Superior, and then hike up to the Utah border, then turn around and head south to the Mexico border, and then turn north and hike back to the center of the state, completing a yo yo, by doing a flip, flop, flip. Essentially- I’ll be hiking the trail twice... all the way up and down the state both northbound and southbound, but in different segment lengths. Conventional wisdom would dictate that I start at the US MX border and hike north to Utah in the spring or fall, thus the descriptive terms yo yo, and flip, flop, flip. Woot! Woot! ;0)
