Can’t both of these statements in those tweets be true?
Tucker or his staff asked Sidney or her staff for the evidence.
Sidney did not provide it.
Tucker reported that he asked and Sidney did not provide the evidence.
It seems to me that this is getting blown out of proportion. A journalist’s job is to look for the information & report what happened when they looked for it. Tucker is not a spokesperson for Sidney Powell or President Trump.
A lawyer’s job is to represent their client. Sidney’s client is not Tucker Carlson, but rather President Trump.
It seems both parties are doing their job.
By the way, Byron York has basically said the same things that Tucker said last night - that Sidney Powell hasn’t provided any evidence.
It can be true she hasn’t provided any evidence & there could be many, very good reasons for her not to provide the evidence - protecting her client the number one. But a reporter, reporting that she hasn’t provided any evidence, can also be true.
What don’t they understand about yesterday being the opening statement and the evidence will be presented in a court of law as it usually is.
I watched Tucker when he “reported” on Sidney. I discerned that it was an attack - he was angry, and he insinuated that unless she presented the evidence, she was lying and not to be listened to. Tucker was clearly agitated. Maybe his ratings nosedive has gotten to him. Maybe he thinks he’s a little more important than he is and how dare Sidney not comply with him! He in no way cut her any slack - in my opinion he treated her as some political hack and not the competent and steadfast legal professional and patriot that she is.
True, and much of their evidence is eyewitness accounts. They will not reveal their names to media so that they can harass and threaten them and their families.
seems that something Tucker or his staff did pissed her off. because she’s been on Glenn’s and Maria’s show already, with plans for judge jeanine on saturday.
journalists can ask for information but if they act like they are entitled to it and the person is lying if they don’t provide it, that’s crossing the line.
Three in the press conference made it very clear that this was just an opening statement. They also talked about not wanting witnesses to be bullied. But Tucker ignored all that and acted like he was the court and therefore due the information. After she said very clearly that she was going to give the evidence to the court and only to the court.
Could be that Tucker was trying to interfere with this lawsuit. Could be that if she gave him the information he wanted then he could stick his lefty friends on the witnesses. Or have them try to Damage the evidence in someway.
I think we have seen his true colors now.
