Thx for the ping.

I saw Ted's test tweets and LOLd!!

Now.....when do these biased platforms get labeled as publishers, and have their Sect 230 liability-free status taken away?

If this year's campaign season didn't offer up enough evidence, to do this, I don't know what will. C'mon, Ted/Senate....fix this!

😡

There is this.....

Senator Mike Lee

Yesterday’s Judiciary Committee hearing revealed that big-tech needs to be held accountable. There are as many potential remedies to this problem as there are aspects of the problem, and I’m working on every issue I can identify.

One issue relates to a lack of accountability among our antitrust agencies—the DOJ and the FTC—whose overlapping responsibilities lead to uncertainty and jurisdictional disputes being resolved by a coin toss. When no one knows who is in charge, bad things happen, and big players like Facebook, Twitter, and Google—who can afford an army of lawyers, lobbyists, and consultants—can game the system to their own advantage. Dividing enforcement between two agencies also means the leaders of those agencies avoid accountability of their own, and can blame failures on their counterpart.

My op-ed in today’s edition of The Wall Street Journal outlines a bill I’m introducing to address this problem, making it more possible to hold big tech accountable.
