My husband came from home from his concealed carry permit class in California, he said he learned that if he has to shoot somebody outside of our house to drag them in before calling the police.

We had friends whose parents were living in Venezuela, during the takeover.
We kept asking if they were going to leave....they said....well, they’re older, they own their home, they’re comfortable....yada, yada....
I kept thinking....time is of the essence!
We saw them a few years later...and, asked how their folks were doing. Oh, they’re okay. We asked, did they get out of Venezuela? No.
It sounded like it was too late, by then :-(
We haven’t seen/spoken to this couple, in several years. I hope they eventually did get out.

I don’t think so; I think it’s gun safety, law, aiming, etc. Then going to the range to shoot. In the lesson Sunday, he did show how to disassemble the pistol to clean it and told me what I needed to get. I thought about asking him if I could come early to ‘help’. He told me several times if I had any questions, I have his email & phone number.
I figure I can find tons of YouTube videos, but that doesn’t guarantee they’re correct! Looks like NRA has some out as well.
I always heard that too; I’ve got an alarm system and the only way I’ll shoot someone if I’m safe in the house is if they breech it, so I won’t have to worry about dragging dead weight! CSI can tell by blood splatter and drag marks if the body has been moved, anyway...😎
