The mail-in ballots are separated from the signature panel - they become part of an undifferentiated mass of ballots, there is no way you can trace back to whomever it was that cast it. So, in effect you are running about 5M pieces of paper thought a scanner, and will find similar results. The evidence of large scale fraud would be found extrinsic to the received ballots they are looking at. It is upstream of the tabulation process. You would need testimony from parties involved, records of activity that facilitated the fraud - documents, e-mail traffic, cell phone records. In short the usual stuff you find in a criminal prosecution of financial fraud, for example. If the kind of fraud that we expect happened is to be prosecuted, the chances of assembling that kind of evidence in time to effect the election is close to zero.

(1) Identify ballots with sole vote cast for Biden
(2) Identify the state representative (not Congress, state = small districts) for the precinct.
(3) Verify that the state representative candidates on the ballot match the state representatives that should be on ballots in the precinct.
(4) Disqualify as fraudulent any ballots where the state representative candidates and the precinct do not match.
(5) Trump/Pence is re-elected.
While some locations may have moved the ballots out of the precincts, many more will still have them at that location or will identify which precincts were the source for each batch of ballots.
How could this not be caught by the given precincts when they recorded the ballots?

—Sloppiness
—Democratic leaning vote counters intentionally ignoring the issue
In addition, if the audit matches mail-in votes to signatures, there may be thousands of obviously fraudulent votes that would be disqualified.
The issue is disqualification of fraudulent votes.
It is totally doable with the audit of votes.
