From what I tried to understand, there are watermarks but each state does their own. So what evidence does Gorka present proving this wrong? I saw some statement from a CA elections dude, a document, explaining about watermarks and it was very techy so my eyes glazed over but it seemed clear that they do use watermarks/identifiers that distinguish the paper used in ballots from other paper.
He debunked it by pointing out as you did that each state has it’s own ballot, that was the extent of his argument but he also said the idea that DHS “ran” this election is ludicrous because each state runs its own elections.
It had a weird ring to it. It had that sense of I’m making this ironclad argument because I’m turning a blind eye to every level of detail and dismissing it. I don’t know, it just sounded defeatist, but in his mind I guess he was getting people fired up(?) Where am I supposed to go demonstrate?
Steve Pieczenik posted a tweet mentioning the paper itself comes from the senate of the state with watermark included. Printing comes from each state. CISA under DHS handling this.
