It’s no secret. Facebook and Twitter have been relentlessly attacking conservative media outlets, Republicans, and Trump supporters for quite some time, but this week, they took their actions to a whole new level. The two tech giants have squelched the President; censored major conservative-leaning media outlets and personalities; and essentially declared an information war against anyone who disagrees with their political views.
Parler, a social media alternative to Facebook and Twitter, owned in part by Conservative media figure Dan Bongino has welcome “Faceblock” and “Shtitter” political refugees with open arms and it has paid off. This week Parler became the top downloaded mobile app, passing TikTok and YouTube.
“The media and the anti-Trump lunatics have awakened a sleeping giant. We gave a collective middle finger to the tech tyrants as Parler remains the NUMBER ONE most downloaded app in the world. Thank you!” Bongino said Sunday.

I hope it also makes more SENSE than FB. I still don’t know half the time what the heck the protocol is or how we’ll see posts the next viewing.

I’ll still try as I want to see what it’s like.
If it’s purely a twitter-type replacement I don’t want it. That garbage gives me a headache. I’d rather have the less-real-time Facebook style.
The cancel culture only stays in environments they can control. If they can’t get people canceled they don’t stay.
