While Parler is like Twitter (e.g. limiting message size and requiring use of #hashtags), MeWe more resembles Facebook.

I really like the Parler user interface, however it doesn't allow certain features (e.g. private messaging) unless you provide them with ID documentation (e.g. pics of front and back of driver's license).

my gripes:

don’t like both MeWe feature lock behind a monthly subscription
don’t like how Parler requires ID. (Biden’s corrupt FBI or DOJ could subpoena its records. Something that Communist China requires on it’s platforms. Real, Verifiable ID.
