State police and County Sheriffs are different; AFAIK County Sheriffs don’t have to do or not do what Gov says as though it was law, when the action is actually upholding law/court order. So in this case the Sheriff is corrupt too. Looks like insurrection from the gov site I copied the other day.
Philadelphia is a Democrat sewer. Watch the movie 'Invincible' to see how a subdued populace just tolerates poverty and lack of opportunity. The Sheriff is usually elected, not appointed by a politician. So presumably the sheriff is acting as he/she thinks the population will be supportive.
When local law enforcement does not obey a legal court order it is the duty of the governor to intervene and see the law carried out. Since neither level of law enforcement will act, the question arises if there is a federal alternative. Lou Dobbs is about to become unhinged at the lack of Republican and DoJ response to overwhelming evidence.

This Republican Party has become the Whig Party that they replaced in 1860 -- incapable of taking decisive action. Ironic, eh? Prez Trump has little support in any fight - the DS is deeper than we all realized. That tape of govt employees ready to storm the WH proves that they do NOT see themselves as public servants; they see themselves as our masters.
