Here is a story in The Hill from November of last year. Looks legit. The Hill does not provide a link to the report but it does say -- The use of audits was a step recommended by the Senate Intelligence Committee to secure elections in volume one of its bipartisan report on Russian interference efforts in 2016.
That’s interesting. Too bad The Hill didn’t quote source. Maybe the writer of the article could be contacted.
