I came across some unintentional humor and thought I would share. Writing so overwrought and turgid it reminded me of writing contests for the worst sentence, or pieces that start with, "It was a dark and stormy night...." This one is from writer
Jack Holmes who penned a TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) piece for Esquire (October 6) I just won't be able to make myself read it - aside from the so-bloated-it's funny first sentence:
"The strongman stood on the balcony of the presidential mansion, hopped up on steroids and exhaling droplets of pandemic disease from his maskless gob in between occasional gasps for breath, saluting the screaming machinery of military force as the presidential helicopter's motors ground into motion and it took off in front of him."
I'm hearing great things about the STOPTHESTEAL protests scheduled for TODAY at noon your time zone at state capitals. Here's a recent post from the forum:
some protest started yesterday, but the big one sould be today.
I’m going down and see if anyone will be in Raleigh.
Some states are more organized than others.
Facebook shutdown a very large group. Supposedly 350,000 to stop these events.
