Is it true that every copier leave a notation of wht copier made the copy?

I believe it is true about the printers, not sure about copiers.

The guy on the video who broke the watermark story falsely claimed to be an ex-CIA officer and announced arrests would be made last night and today

IMO, it the whole thing appears to be a big nothing burger
