Collin County, TX
Generally a GOP stronghold, but the Dems think they’re turning it blue.
Almost 70% of registered voters voting during early election time.

I don’t think Trump will have a problem here. Cornyn might.

Louisiana
GOP mostly, but some Democrats do occasionally get elected .
Normally I am in and out in a few minutes, today it was more like 40 minutes.

I miss Oklahoma. Such a nice red state. :-)

One of our grandsons used to call it “Hokie-mama”.

DE Mixed district, leans GOP. Long lines starting at 7 AM. Took an hour to vote vs. usual 15 minutes.

Treasure Coast of FL

I’m pretty sure this immediate area is strongly GOP.

Walked the dog past the precinct this morning and the line appeared long but also social distancing.

Got back, ate breakfast then walked down to vote. Line seemed about normal. Been voting there for about 10 years.

Lots of seniors and they/we tend to vote in higher percent regardless so I’m going to say it’s basically normal turnout for us.

In 2016 I voted later in the day, it looked like a pilgrimage at Lourdes. Elderly, enfeebled, the halt and the lame, all very steely-eyed and resolute. Trump won overwhelmingly in my district. :)

We live in a small community in SW Virginia and voted about 7 a.m. I was number 14. 75 people had voted early in this precinct.

Florida, north part of Orange County (tends to be more blue on the map, we’re fighting it) Demographic that we saw: mostly older (in their 70s and up) folks.

Brisk polite voting/no lines—an “average” turnout compared to the previous presidential election, but considering this is in a blue area—that’s probably a good thing.

NC
Rural polling place / mixed
0645 Busiest I have ever seen in twenty something years.

No voter ID required.

They gave the guy in front of me his sons ballot accidentally.
I made a comment that’s why you should be checking ID’s.
Got that “look” from a black poll worker at the table.

Pendleton, Indiana. People waiting over two hours to get in. They only gave 4 polling booths. People not happy because oldsters are standing in very cold temps in early hours. It is supposed to warm up later today.

Bucks County PA - Took my wife 1-1/2 hrs in early morning. More crowded at 10:30 AM than I am used to but my line was short.

I will tell you a little secret about how to see how this election is going.

Hillary won Massachusetts 60.0% to 32.8% in 2016.

That is a 27.2% margin.

Let’s see if the Trump voters can close that margin a little bit—if so it is an indication of low Democratic turnout.

If you are around tonight please keep an eye on your local media reports and let us know...

About 100 were standing in line to vote when my precinct opened at 7am. A poll worker moved a few signs further away from the building to conform with an ordnance. A police officer arrived shortly before the opening to watch over things. Folks were on their best behaviour and no Karens, Poindexters, nor shenanigans were in evidence during my brief stay at the polls.
