Had a big boss, second or third line exec told me that a long time ago. He said “You can do anything you want, *if* you have the money”. And I thought that was like a tautology, so obviously true that it was not even worth saying but. . . darned if that line hasn’t come back to me in various situations all through the last 40 years or so.
