As an aside, a few weeks ago "The Rock" showed up on Amazon Prime, so I tried watching it.
I couldn't make it past 15 minutes, well before Sean Connery made his appearance. The scenes with Nicholas Cage or Ed Harris were just execrable, at least as directed by Micheal Bay.

Check out, “Outland”, a 1981 realism-based sci-fi film where he plays a Federal Marshal assigned to a mining colony on one of Jupiter’s moons. Its a variation of High Noon.
