Thank you for your service. For many years, I was into the Civil War, traveled to many of the battlefields, and did a lot of historical research. I came across the music of a Civil War band called The 97th Regimental String Band. I have many of their CD's. One of them was titled "Saturday Night at Sea," so all the ballads were related to sea faring. This is their rendition of "What Do You Do With a Drunken Sailor."

Thank you...I am going to check out more of that work. The music of that era strikes a chord with me as well...
