Back when the post office stationed carriers outside till midnight on April 15 to collect tax returns our local paper snapped a front page photo of a guy handing over his 1040 at the stroke of midnight.

He was our school’s basketball coach.

So I get it, people procrastinate. I doubt the volume in this case.
