1) When will it be approved for peasants like us who aren’t the President?
2) If approved, how much will it cost ?

A friend knows a higher up there, it should be ready for wide distribution early 2021. I believe your insurance plan will cover most of the cost.
The President has stated more than a dozen times in the past ten days that emergency, expedited authorization is already pending at the FDA for approval and that the cost will be free. Surprised you haven’t heard that.
Studies still need to be finalized. It is not gonna be approved until there is consistent effectiveness without signicant toxicities. Fortunately these studies should wrap up soon.
Regarding cost...my guess is that it will be enough to reimburse the companies efforts and them some profit. Most likely it will be subsidized by state and u.s. governments...could be cheaper than stimulus package. It will be competing against other treatments upcoming which may be equally effective or less expensive or toxic or easier to administer. Like aviptadil or remdesivir.
