The problem is, this kind of corruption is considered a perk of being in office. If you look at the spouses, children, and siblings of every officeholder in Washington I’ll bet you would find thousands of family members getting big government contracts, sitting on boards of one kind or another drawing big paychecks for nothing more than having the correct last name or a related to the officeholders.
In 1995 Newt Gingrich’s wife was given a high paying job in an Israeli trade company right after he became Speaker of the House.
Both parties do it, and that is why congress will never lift a finger to put an end to influence peddling and this kind of corruption.
What Hunter and Biden’s family have done is well beyond perks and just sitting on boards.....well past that.
