In the hard science classes it is just background noise. In the non-science classes it is all-SJ, all the time. In US History I it was “slavery, slavery, slavery” and in US History II it was “colonialism, colonialism, colonialism”. (I hold the very UN-PC perspectives that it was the Anglosphere that led the way for the eradication of slavery and that without the colonial era most of the world would still be in the dark ages.) It’s hard to hold your tongue, or rather, bite your tongue to get through the class without being penalized for holding a contrary opinion.

Maybe sooner. This is not new, it was going on the last time I was in school, decades ago. Just not as pervasive in the computer science realm.
