The libertarian in Scott Adams got the better of him yesterday, as he gave NXIVM higher-up Nicki Clyne a forum to talk about how poor Keith was legally railroaded.
Commenters thought that Nicki's NLP skills exceeded Scott's NLP defenses. (She does have a winning smile.)
Nicki and Scott said that people wouldn't even be talking about this if a bunch of guys formed a club and branded each other. A commenter said people would definitely be talking if a woman formed the club and branded the men.
I did learn one thing useful. Nicky says "Raniere" rhymes with "canary". The canary, however, neglected to sing at his own trial.
