There’s simply no way thst I could possibly connect the initial, frantic “Rescue 911”-style videos propagated by the Chinese with the mostly mild flu-like symptoms eventually experienced in most of the rest of the world. People have not been collapsing and dying in the streets, for godsake. The initial SHOCK of the widely-spread Wuhan videos was obviously used to create fear and eventually lockdowns and crashing economies worldwide. This was an attack on the emotions and fears of people everywhere via supposedly live video.
This is part of a plan by people who want control of all of us. Why do you think we modern serfs are now forced to wear masks as if they were burkas?
The disease certainly does not appear to be as strong as it once was. I can’t remember the exact figures, but in the early days in Wuhan there was a significant percentage of people ending up in the hospital, and out of those perhaps 1/3 were ending up on oxygen or respirators or dying.
As for the videos, what I think was happening was this. There appears to be a progression of the disease where for the first week you are sick and then you seem to be getting better the second week, but actually the virus is screwing up your lungs, you have a relapse the end of the second week and then are likely to die the third week.
I suspect a lot of the collapsed people were those who ignored the disease, assumed it was going away, and then collapsed when they had the relapse. That happened here too in the early days.
The difference now is we recognize the disease and the progression. If people who have a significant case get early treatment and monitoring that can make a huge difference. So the death rates have gone down quite a bit.
What I don’t understand still is why so many people are asymptomatic and have only mild reactions or none at all. There was a testing study recently done in Tokyo that shows that in the general population who have not shown symptoms, there is like a 45% exposure rate that shows they actually have antibodies that mean they been exposed to the virus. I am hoping that means that we are much closer to “herd immunity” than we think, but who knows.
