This is amazing, but I suspect, especially given the quick edit at the end, that he’s trying to say that they’ve put together the largest organization to fight voter fraud. That would be an absurd lie, of course, and we all know they are the kings of fraud, but to be fair I suspect this is a combination of Joe’s usual discombobulation and someone creatively editing the video.
If he rewinds a little past the end of the video clip, that’s one thing. If he charges forward, that’s either a gaffe or a dog-whistle to his people.
How does that fly with the claims by the Democrats and Media that there is no Voter Fraud? Claims of voter fraud are all a Republican invention to suppress voting.
I think he misspoke. To claim that they have a wonderful organization to prevent voter fraud, finally admits that voter fraud exists -- and implicitly agrees with the Conservative position that it is critical to control our votes: ensure only legal citizens can vote (and vote once). The Democrats never have supported, nor do they now support, this position.
