Have you noticed that now it is not the old and sick but the young. This suggests that it is a different virus going around since it targets a different group.
They lag by a week or so (data source are all the official death certificates issues in the US of A). For the week of 17 Oct 20 you had to get up into age band 35-44 before any deaths are attributed.
From age 65 and up the risk is there. But then at these ages many have several medical problems that are looking to kill you off.
At age 67 I have a dog in this fight and call BS. The Hong Kong flu from my youth (1968-69) was very similar in who was at risk. We did not shut down the world then nor should we now. Just my 2¢.
