You’re right- but they’re counting on Americans imagining the destination - respectable Biden, progressive country where all are equal and everything is free. It is of no interest to them how the journey is traveled or what damage is done.
We don’t need everyone to see the corruption. Only the mushy middle voters who are still undecided. This story will not set well with the Bernie Bros either.
I think the corruption allegations will be worth 1-3 points and in a tight race (the polls are ridiculously wrong) that is the difference.
