Happy Monday morning!

I’m sorry to hear about a new seizure for Puppy. I hope its just part of her growing up and not a permanent condition, but of course, if you know what it is, it can be treated.

I think it’s most likely to be idiopathic epilepsy, although we’re looking into a possible low blood sugar since she doesn’t always eat in the morning. We’re encouraging her to eat. We’ll see if that does anything.

There’s also this new (to us) thing of not spaying a puppy until after she’s had her first heat. In the past we spayed our pups after 6 months. Apparently the estrogen changes could possibly trigger a seizure. If the neurologist says that’s a possible cause, we may spay her.
