The word has gone out in the optometry profession to prescribe blue-blocker lenses for youth because they’re on screens all the time. And it’s insured.
I never knew that! Screens have changed since the first black with orange and then black with green formats.
It seems that only yesterday, I was working in the district attorney’s office, reading data off a black screen with orange print. When I was transferred up a floor and into an completely different department, we had black screens with green print. I still worked for the county, but the equipment was different.
Then we moved into a completely different phase where we had to take classes in the latest Windows programs, using Word for Windows.
Now I have to adjust my screen brightness. I don’t know how to get the blue factor out, though.
