Laughing is good for the soul and the blood pressure.
That’s why I’ve invested, one at a time, in the first six seasons of “Death In Paradise.” The first two years, with Ben Miller, are the funniest, but after the Irishman came in, it lost most of it’s allure. I understand, though, that Ben Miller is coming back for the 10th season, so I’ll have to keep an eye on that.
I just listened to the wind try to blow the roof off, yesterday, and today, the chimes are at it again, reminding me of why this place got its name.
Speaking of wind, the two mulberry trees between this building and the next one are both going to be taken out soon. Good, because not only are they a safety issue, but their roots have killed the lawn. It’s always muddy in that corner.
Pleased to know about the mulberry tree removal.
How is the first guy coming back? Isn’t the character dead?
I think the Irish guy is charming, but I agree that the amusement value has declined. The young woman constable, the Commissioner’s niece, is way overdone, and the new sergeant is no fun at all.
